A little about me…

I grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and have loved art for as long as I can remember. At my montessori preschool, the teachers often told my parents I could be found planted in front of the easel, completely absorbed in painting while the rest of the class moved on to other activities.

As a child, I signed every piece simply “LEAH.” Sometimes it was misspelled (I was learning to write), or sometimes all jumbled up and backwards. Choosing LEAH as my logo today is my way of honoring that younger version of myself, the one who painted purely for the joy of it without worrying about perfection or purpose.

This site is a collection of that continued love for creating. I paint because I enjoy it and because it feels good to make things without putting too much pressure on the outcome. Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate to travel quite a bit, and many of the pieces you’ll see here are inspired by different places, moments, and memories along the way.

Eventually, this space will become a place where you can purchase prints of my work if something speaks to you. For now, it’s simply a place to share what I’m making.
